CUPELLATION LABORATORY (FIRE ASSAYING)

The cupellation or fire assay method, classified under the norm UNI ISO 11426:2000, is an old and well known analytical methodology utilized for the determination of precious metals concentration.

The cupellation laboratory (fire assaying) consists of the following machines:

Bench drill for sample taking
Analytical balance for sample weighing with anti-vibration table
Working bench for cupels treatment with rolling mill and annealing system
Cupellation furnace with cartridge filter unit for removal of lead oxides
Separation hood (parting hood) with fume scrubber
